Man. You gotta go with the classics. Wait! You knew this was coming! It's National Poetry Month! This for all my unhappy friends, with, yes, LOVE:

you shall above all things be glad and young

you shall above all things be glad and young
For if you're young, whatever life you wear

it will become you;and if you are glad
whatever's living will yourself become.
Girlboys may nothing more than boygirls need:
i can entirely her only love

whose any mystery makes every man's
flesh put space on;and his mind take off time

that you should ever think, may god forbid
and (in his mercy) your true lover spare:
for that way knowledge lies, the foetal grave
called progress,and negation's dead undoom.

I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance

A year ago you gave me a new appreciation for e.e. cummings and I am glad to read his poetry again. Thank you.
About Lake Chelan... it wasn't too cold once we got over Sherman Pass Sunday. Just a bit of snow in Lake Chelan Campground in the shade. It was certainly a good time to go. We had the campground almost to ourselves. Our home away from home tent trailer has a great furnace and we were never really cold at all. A couple had biked from Ephrada to Bridgeport, then to the campground and they had gotten cold camping in a tent. They took over this beautiful little shelter on the campground that had an old stone fireplace and an old weathered table. It was perfect.
We enjoy camping in quiet places without a lot of tourists!
