What an interesting collection of creches you have, Cheech...very beautiful. I hope this holiday season is full of joy for you and yours, and may many blessings be yours in the coming year.

And, of course...Happy Easter!

My word verification is "blessu" - how apropos.

hey Homer! Happy Easter to you, too! ;) Really glad you're feeling better and good enough to capture that magnificent picture of the eagle. woweeeee. Hope you are enjoying the break and that 2009 is the best year of your WHOLE life. Actually, my new blog friend emailed me some info that led me to Freinds of the Crech. Yup. I'm joining and signed up for the Creche Convention in Salt Lake City next November. boo yah!

Oh no.... now I love the Oregon crech also! We didn't take on the snow, slush, rain, snow, and drivers from Stevens County that do the same as the ones in Kootenai county today!! I think some of them grow up, get bigger trucks and move our way or versa visa!! Good thing none of my gifts are perishable.. a day will come soon for travel!!

We went downtown. Picked up a few gifts that I couldn't get to before Christmas and went to see SlumDog Millionaire. It was soooooo good. So good. Try to see it! The streets and the stores were full of people. Good day to stay home. ;)

Looking at all these has just jogged my memory. A couple years ago when I was in Italy during December, in one of the towns where I stopped there had been a "Nativity contest." Contestants had creatively constructed their own Nativities and then they were proudly displayed in one of the cathedrals. I remember being memorized...they were all so delightful. It was a fabulous way to spend the afternoon.
