I have loved looking at all your nativities. Absolutely delightful.
:)They have not been out of the boxes in a long, long time. It's a tremendous amount of work but I really, really, enjoyed it this year. I'll be glad when they are all tucked back in their little storage boxes and safely deposited in the closet under the stairs.
Tlingit Tribelove it...... love them all....... JBelle are these all in your home or your business offices?Im so enjoying looking at these, I just wanna pick them up and gently touch them.... And I dont do God but I am so drawn to these lolx
(laughing at Mel) I've been saving Tlingit for you; it's not a very good picture as these are all in the office with that horrid flourescent light. I am going to light them proper this weekend and get good shots of them all and I'll see that you get a nice foto of the Tlingit tribe nativity. Cool, huh?
As you can guess...I'm partial to the Tlingit creche with the Bentwood box as a cradle. I'm surprisedI've never seen such up here. Way cool, Cheec.
I bought our first nativity at the dollar store this year. One dollar for the most precious, intricately painted figurines...Best purchase ever.Thank you M'Belle for sharing. Love.
Homer,This is one of my faves, oh hell, who am I kidding? they are all my favorite in some sense. But this one troubles me this because I just can't remember where I got it. And it's waaaaaay cool, isn't it? Did you see my Alaska? scroll down. bought it in Anchorage on lunch at a gem shop.
Pix, I am so glad to hear from you; so really glad. I can't find you anywhere. :( I am thinking of start a sub collection of garage sale and dollar store creches because they are uniquely expressed, if mass produced. I would LOVE to see a picture of your new nativity. It's so nice to see you, Lover.
Pix, makes me really, really happy to see you.
