Okay, get off. Let the emails, phone calls, wailing and gnashing of teeth cease. I'm here. I'm fine. It's all good. And we've all survived--how many days has it been?

Initially, I was at a loss to continue the Russian saga. It is so difficult to describe completely and fully. I was stumped. I put it off. I have decided that whenever the wind up of Russia 2007 is written will be just fine. I'm reading Pushkin and Dostoevsky. Maybe I will understand better why describing it evades me.

I am busy with work, with friends, and with the things that I enjoy.

I am training for the Vietnam bike ride in November.

I am living my life. It was a beautiful end to summer. It's fall now. Cool, wet, misty.

I am soldiering on with the things that continue to plague me and happy for the new and different things that surprise me.

More as I know it.

Something tells me that Joe Montana needs to put a little extra something in your glass of Chateau-de-Chateau this evening. Valium, maybe?

Phew!!!!! cancelling me aeroplane ticket to come and hunt you out and check that all is fine..... dam, now where to go in a fortnight when the schools break for half term :).....

We had the thickest fog at 6 yesterday morning, but when it lifted it was a beautiful day, still jumper weather though, NOT T-shirt weather like I was told it was in Maine yesterday and 90 degrees, but, here in blighty to us Brits it was beautiful and clear and crisp with damp misty mornings and evenings...... today looks like its gonna be the same....

But fank goodness its Friday, Im completely drained and knackered this week....

When I sawa you respond to one of Backwage's blogs, I knew you were fine. I just wasn't sure where you were. I know the feeling of getting bogged down. I feel that way most of the week. Today's Friday, and I'm glad for that. Still lots to do.

Glad to hear that all is well. I understand about the hesitation to finish the Russian tales at this time. I put my summer travel stories on hold as well. The timing just isn't there at present. Vietnam bike ride sounds lovely.

Unappreciative, are we? You'd think/feel differently if you vanished and no one said a word.

True dis and true dat: I am always happy to "see" you.
