Colors! Colors! Colors! Is this right now? **grrrrr**

I'm still looking at snow...so I don't have much of a draw towards white flowers...but the rest are pure eye-candy. I've had my share of "white" in this lifetime...thank you.

Colors! Colors! Colors!

This is right now, right this afternoon. All of 'em in the bed that runs the length of the house, and pansies up the drive way, and more primroses down at the street, and the pots and planters all got 'em. sigh. it smells heavenly. looks pretty good, too. Took 3 people 4 hours to get all of these in. :)

Grrr.... you have gardeners!! Send them to our house, would ya?

Toadgirl is still looking forward to seeing your garden in person some day. She IS a florist, you know.

What a delightful way to start my week. Gorgeous pictures. My garden still sleeps, although there are more blades of green in my lawn, than brown. My UPS delivery last week consisted of wonderful new planters and a fountain for the deck. I hope to make it to Home Depot today to buy potting soil, 80lbs should do it, and more wicker furniture. My friends in CA chortle wickedly at the thought of having to buy dirt.

Well they certainly make me 5 yellow and me 5 blue polys in me poo buckets which I did a about 4 weeks back look a little saddo LOL

oh by the way, we dont call them primroses cos they are cultivated :) which means they are polys :)...... primroses are the very pale yellow ones that are wild..... ya know the ones ya sneak up the woods and use to little towel to dig up and bring home.......

anyways thats the difference between polys and primroses over here....... ya cant get no pink or blue primroses.......

Dam girl I so would love a big garden.......

Hope you used PINKIE ;) lol - love ya

Ahhhh. Brightness. Can't ...seem...to...look....away....

The little red cap on the woodpecker is about all of the colour here.

Melsie: Man. I never knew. Polys. I do know Lizzies, though. Do you put Lizzies in the buckets when the time comes?

Toadster: I think your sweet wife is richly talented. In my dreams somewhere, I have a shop. I think it's a flower shop. Knowing me, it has a greenhouse and nursery attached. That would be one heck of a job: florist, greenhouse, nursery. sigh.

Wondering: I buy yards and yards and yards of dirt every spring. still. that and steer manure. and to this time, peat moss. Which now, from reading the newspaper in London, is ecologically irresponsible. I can't plant without peat moss. I bet your fountain is going to be cool! I am deciding about a new fountain at the moment. I think,-- I think--I am going to take the truck up the Joe Road, the St Joe River road above St Maries, and find me a wonderful large boulder and somehow get it on the truck and back to town. Then, have someone drill a hole right down the middle which will facilitate a recirculating pump. Plant the big rock in a collection pool and turn it on. Fountain a la North Idaho.

It should work.

Even though I only did me poo pots with blue and yellow polys a few weeks ago, Im now gagging to pull them out and plant with me summer stuff...... in the lead up to crimbo I plant red and white white polys :) - to keep with the crimbo thing lol

Wow! Your color is lovely. Mine isn't quite there yet! But then, I haven't bought any primroses or pansies. My pansies are turning into a ground cover and though they are EVERYWHERE!!! only the Jonny Jump Ups are starting to bloom right now.

The Primroses (and yes, these are the wild primroses) are about the same as the pansies right now. I'll have to check tonight after work. The warm day yesterday might have got them a bit further.

I was over at Burdockboy looking briefly at the comments and see you mention "Gonzaga" and had to pop in.

Beautiful prime roses. I know they pose to be easy to grow but yet haven't been able yet to get a prime rose to make it more then one season.

Stop by my blog sometime.

Hello Jbelle.

A fine sight to behold. If I could paint, I'd be looking for my brush right now.
