I know I already posted the bee in the coneflower but I just love this one. This is 'Mary' rose, a David Austin that I planted for a very special Mary in my life. Not too long ago I was out in the evening light, getting some shots of that very pretty yellow middle/pink/pink contrast when a bee flew into the shot and commenced feeding. That's usually how I get the bees and the dragonflies. But on this occasion, another bee flew in! Double bee! That's got to be a good omen, right? Especially for Mary A. Happy, happy back to school.
